Millstream Gardens Kawakawa Balm 60ml
Millstream Gardens Kawakawa Balm 60ml
Overview
Traditionally used for soothing insect bites and stings, skin rashes, poor circulation, bruises, wounds, burns, aches and pains.
Kawakawa (Macropiper excelsum) is known as the ?€?Pharmacy of the Forest?€?. The small tree, with distinctive heart shaped leaves, is a significant and sacred plant to Maori. Among its many healing properties, it is reputed to soothe insect bites and stings, skin rashes, eczema, poor circulation, bruises, wounds, burns, aches and pains.
While we wait for our plants to mature, we are fortunate to have access to our friend's Hamish and Mathilda's bush block at Tirohia Farm, where we can gather Kawakawa and Titoki.
Made with: Maceration of Kawakawa leaves in Olive Oil and Beeswax.
It seems that in NZ at the moment, aluminium is a better option than plastic for recycling. Where possible we are gradually replacing plastic pots with aluminium tins. This product will now be coming in a tin.
